Susanna and I set this one for her grandmother for Christmas. She introduced both of us to cryptic crosswords a couple years ago, so this felt pretty special. Hope you enjoy too! Susanna had the great idea of putting individual clue explanations below the puzzle, so you can look there and not get spoiled for the rest. These explanations also show up after each clue once the puzzle is solved.
You probably didn’t open the puzzle if you’re not familiar with cryptic crosswords, but if you did I have great news for you! I plan on making a series of mini cryptics for new solvers, where each mini will focus on a different type of cryptic clue. There will be tons of explanations and practice!
